Hello! Firstly, I'd like to thank you for visiting, It's honestly fabulous to have you here! You may already know, but my name is Amy, I'm 23 and I'm a candid wedding photographer based in Hertfordshire. To give you an idea of what I'm like in real life, the three words I would use to describe myself are: Passionate, energetic and friendly, on the other hand, my friends and family would describe me as bubbly, creative and a total weirdo...So, if you're anything like me then I'm positive we'll get on swell!
To fulfil my passion for wedding photography, I travel across England and I will be with you every step of the way, before and after your wedding day! I am well suited to couples who are fun and relaxed and want their weddings to be a little on the quirky, untraditional side. How I'll Be Working On Your Wedding Day.
On the day of your wedding or event I always make it my top priority to make sure you and everyone around you is comfortable and knows who I am. I'll work the room in a non-intrusive and sneaky sort of way, making sure I'm not getting too close in anyone's face.
My aim is to capture your wedding in the most storytelling way possible, making sure your photos are true-to-life and natural. I love capturing those moments that you wouldn't expect to see...like your new father-in-law dancing to mariachi music, wearing a sombrero...
My Editing Style Explained
True-to-life and vibrant are the 2 words I would use to describe my editing style, because I still like to keep the natural colours but I like to make them pop just that little bit more. My editing style is certainly on the brighter side. My editing style works best with lots of natural light or a bright flash light. It is also extremely versatile and works fabulously in all lighting scenarios. To help you understand further, please take a look at my portfolio!
Why I Love My Work.
With an Insane Passion
There are so many reasons why I love what I do, but at the end of the day I think it comes down to wanting to go above and beyond for photographing meaningful and sentimental moments. You know the ones that make you're heart melt and your cheeks hurt? These moments honestly bring me as much joy as they do for you, which explains why I get giddy and excited when I capture the most PERFECT moment. This is the core of my love for event and wedding photography and is the reason I find myself in disbelief of how lucky I am to witness such special occasions in people's lives.
Also, photography is a life long passion of mine as I've always found myself behind a camera (of some sort), trying to compose the perfect shot (I think it's a perfectionist thing). Nevertheless, I've always enjoyed it so when I discovered my love for event and wedding photography you can imagine the happiness it brought me.
