A & R got married at the Rivervale barn on the 30th October 2025, it was a mildly pleasant day for an Autumn wedding. The colours on the trees were in full bloom and made the most gorgeous backdrop for all the outdoor photos that took place. A & R had a very intimate wedding with their close family and friends which created a calm and relaxed vibe.

What Made The Rivervale Barn Special?

  • Beautiful private garden surrounding the venue (owned privately, not by the venue)

  • Very spacious barn overall, the reception area is especially huge.

  • The iconic red bridge - a go to place for couple photos

  • The most beautiful natural light coming through the walled windows into the ceremony room

  • The elegant courtyard equipped with a gorgeous fountain and seating to enjoy a drink and a bit of fresh air

What Did A & R Do To Make Their Day Unique?

  • Beautiful Lilac/purple colour scheme, Rachael dyed her hair purple especially to match

  • Deadman's Fingers bottles used as vases for flowers in the ceremony room (so unique!)

  • It was the day before halloween, so they added touches of 'spooky' to their DIY decorations such as their centrepieces

  • Rachael added her own personal touches to her bridal look including her favourite chunky, black boots and cathedral length vale with a black embroided flowers outline
