A BBQ style spring time Burgundy Wedding. T & S's wedding was the perfect example of what a family BBQ wedding should be about. They got married on the 5th of April 2025 and they were lucky enough to have the perfect spring weather. The sun shined for T & S all day long, which immediately set the tone for a delicious BBQ wedding breakfast.

Ingleside House in Cirencester has the perfect inside/outside ratio for the reception part of the day. A beautiful white marque, lit by small chandeliers and natural light. Alongside the spacious back garden next to it, with an inside/outside bar, smoking area, fire pit (I KNOW!) and outdoor tables and chairs - with umbrellas! Whether you're having a big or small wedding, it would be perfect for most!

T & S wanted to ensure that their guests were kept busy during more quieter periods of the day, which commonly happens after food and before all the dancing has started. To fill this gap, they dotted garden games around the garden which were a hit with both the kids and the adults! Their choice of games were Giant Jenga, Giant Connect 4 and Darts!

T & S may have had a BBQ style wedding reception, but they still wanted to keep things a little traditional. Therefore, they did actually eat their wedding breakfast inside the marque, amongst the delicate and simple decorations they had around the marque. They followed their wedding breakfast with some heart felt speeches and presenting gifts to their loved ones.

You could argue that their burgundy wedding colour scheme wasn't the most 'spring time'. However, the contrast the flowers, decorations and bridal party wear made against the white marque was absolutely stunning. It still created this 'spring time' wedding feel and to be honest was so refreshing to see an 'off-trend' colour scheme being chosen in the middle of spring, (not to mention but the photo editor in me LOVED it).

To top all this off, a wedding wouldn't be a wedding without putting a spotlight on the beautiful bride and groom. T & S were the most wholesome pair. They were glued together most of the day. Their relationship radiated 'best friends' and were just a absolute joy to work with. It was awesome being a part of their wedding day, especially as it was my first wedding of 2025!
